Astrology is one of the oldest sciences where the hidden answers are brought in light using different principles and methods. The planetary combinations used are different and yet the result derived comes to the same. Over a period of time different methods have been brought forward, such as the Prashari System, KP System etc. With this write up today I would like to bring out one such method from the great sages. Sage Bhrigu had given us this form of astrology popularly known as the Naadi Astrology or BHRIGU NAADI ASTROLOGY.
After years of experience and research work done by many learned astrologers, certain elements have been given in order to predict. The planets have been divided into groups of Benefic and Malefic and the 12 houses are divided into TRINES, KENDRA, AND TRIKS.
TRINES: 1,5,9
QUADRANTS: 1,4,7,10
TRIKS: 6,8,12
Unlike other systems of astrology where Lagna is given great importance in a birth chart, in this method Jupiter is taken as the Jeeva Atma. The predictions are made according to the rounds of Jupiter and the event taking place will be in order when Jupiter touches other natal planets in the chart. Jupiter, the Jeeva Atma, takes 12 years to complete One full cycle and return back to its natal position. It stays in one sign for a period of 1 year. Here, I would like to request the readers to ignore the Retrograde motion of this planet as this will be dealt separately in a different article. In the 1st round of Jupiter that is from the age 1 – 12 years the results will be bestowed upon the individual for himself or herself. In the 2nd Round, age 12 – 24 years, the results will be for the Family and Money. 3rd Round, age 26 – 36 years, will contribute towards the Courage, Travelling and siblings and so on the 4th, 5th, 6th round.
Apart from the usual planetary aspects of planets, in the Naadi system of Astrology, great importance is given to the Trinal conjunctions. For example, if Sun is Placed in Aries and Moon in Leo and Saturn and Rahu in Sagittarius, the equation will be Sun + Moon + Saturn + Rahu. To delineate and give a prediction for the father, this particular equation will have to be considered. Also, in Naadi Astrology, the significations of the planet are taken into consideration for predicting the combinations formed.
Out of many significations each planet signifies, some of them have been given below as it is not possible to list out all of them. Below are the significations of different planets:
SUN: Father, Government, Soul, Temple, Status, Name and Fame, Etc.
MOON: Mother, Mind, Water, Milk, Ocean, Foreign Travel, Etc.
MARS: Confidence, Brother, Husband (In female horoscopes), Etc.
MERCURY: Education, Intelligence, Sometimes Second Wife, Etc.
VENUS: Money, Wife (In Male Chart), Sisters, Daughters, Etc.
JUPITER: The Life Force, Jeeva Atma.
SATURN: Profession, Delays, Hurdles, Death, Etc.
RAHU & KETU: They form the family circle and beginning and end of the Road
In the next post we will be discussing the signification of different houses along with the direction of houses and how they play an important role to predict certain sectors of our life.
